SpeedStitch Proudly Supports Young Runners at the TCS London Mini Marathon

At SpeedStitch, community is at the heart of everything we do, so when the opportunity came up to support a school team taking part in the TCS London Mini Marathon, we jumped at the chance.

We were delighted to sponsor a set of performance shirts for a group of 15 fantastic young runners from one of the schools we proudly supply with uniform.
These students trained hard, showed incredible team spirit, and took on the iconic race with energy and determination. We couldn’t be prouder to have been a small part of their big day.

Supporting More Than Just Uniforms
It’s moments like this that remind us why we love what we do.
Supplying school uniform isn’t just about clothing – it’s about supporting the wider school community and the amazing opportunities that come with it. Whether it’s in the classroom, on the sports field, or pounding the pavements of London, we believe young people deserve to feel confident, proud, and part of something bigger.

Fluorescent and Fabulous
For the Mini Marathon, the team’s tops were chosen in a bright fluorescent orange colour – making sure our runners stood out from the crowd for all the right reasons. We added the school’s logo and printed the SpeedStitch sponsorship logo on them too.
Not only did the vibrant shade bring a real sense of team unity, it also helped keep the group easily visible among thousands of competitors and spectators – and even caught the eye during the pre-race warm-up, led by none other than Joe Wicks.
Known as the nation’s favourite fitness coach and lockdown hero, Joe got the crowd revved up and moving – and there’s nothing quite like the excitement of spotting your shirts front and centre on his social feeds! 😀

Designed to Perform
We selected the AWDis Just Cool shirts for their lightweight, moisture-wicking fabric which was perfect for keeping the young athletes cool, comfortable and race-ready.
With technical features built in and a super bright finish, the kit was ready to work as hard as the runners wearing it. (Although we must admit, these kids made it look effortless on the day.)

A Huge Well Done
A massive congratulations to all 15 runners for their brilliant achievement.
We’re so proud to have been involved and we can’t wait to see what they tackle next. (No pressure, but if any future Olympians come out of this group, we’ll be cheering from the sidelines… in matching embroidered hoodies, naturally😉)
